These spring edge band clamps are used to clamp edge mouldings by combining the easy application of a spring clamp with the even pressure of a rubber band. Simply apply the clamp over the edging material, the firm hold of the jaws will hold the clamp in place, ensuring the clamping force is directed inwards towards the workpiece by the rubber band. If more lateral clamping force is needed, then the clamp is placed further into the workpiece to stretch the rubber band.

The rubber band is made from virtually tear proof material that will hold its elasticity over time. The clamp body is made from glass fibre reinforced polypropylene making the clamps lightweight but also very durable they will not break during application. The large, pivoting jaws mean the clamps can be used with angled material as well as thicker stock and the non marring pads will be in full contact with the workpiece to give a firm hold. The high carbon grade steel spring provides a strong clamping force, which will remain constant over time. The components of the clamp are all made of material that dried glue will easily flake or peel right off.
